A very clever cover.
I especially like the part where she sings, "Don't make me sing this part of the song. The lyrics are so bad, so we're going to skip ahead to the single ladies part instead." The lyrics she skipped are:
"Don't treat me to the things of the world. I'm not that kind of girl. Your love is what I prefer, what I deserve. Here's a man that makes me then takes me, and delivers me to a destiny, to infinity and beyond. Pull me into your arms, say I'm the one you own. If you don't, you'll be alone and like a ghost I'll be gone."
She's right. It stinks. No wonder she skipped it.

I prefer this Jazzy version. But I miss the smexy dancing. And while I too prefer this couple's rendition of the song's bridge, I think it really flies in the face of convention to improve upon lyrics to popular smash hits. After all, the general pubic is responsible for the success of a song with lame lyrics. Who are we the discriminating public to question the blithe, unwashed masses? They not only outnumber us but they're probably more prone to physical violence. It's best to smile and let them have their bliss. That's my opinion and I'm sticking to it.

Holy cow. Is it so? Has the SpyMan emerged from radio silence to post in his inimitable style?
