Thriller - The Covers

Coming in July: Michael Jackson Mondays. Or, more specficially, Thriller-cover Mondays, which doesn't sound as catchy. We were saving this series for October, but in light of recent events, its time has come.

Thriller has to be one of the most covered music videos, ever, and in some really funny or clever ways. And some really bad ways. (The Legos, Thomas the Tank Engine and marching band versions come to mind.)

And of course, Austin has the world record (at this time) for the most people dancing Thriller.

On March 25, 1983, Michael Jackson performed Billie Jean for a Motown special, a historic performance that was the debut of the Moonwalk and the notorious White Glove. Twenty-four years later, in May 2007, the White Glove Tracking Project published a request on the internet for help in digitally locating the glove in each of the 10,000+ frames of the video. It was done in 3 days. The data is available online for video freaks to go crazy on. To date there are a dozen versions on the website. -Head Trickster

I've commonly heard the statement, "Vice Trickster, you're worth your weight in gold!". It's usually from the mouth of the Head Trickster, and I've always figured it was some kind of insult.
